- Describe what you do in one sentence or less:
- I am responsible for the operations and global adoption of interactive marketing programs in over 200 countries and 18 languages.
- Why do you do what you do?
- Program Management allows me to draw on skills I have acquired from varying facets of my background including Planning, Operations, Creative, Web Design, Sales, Service, and Business Analysis. I never want to be bored, and in this role I never am!
- How do you do what you do?
- Each program is like a gigantic jigsaw puzzle. I identify all the pieces of the puzzle and then assemble them to create the big picture. Together with our amazing team, I identify the missing pieces and fill the gaps. Then I socialize each program to find new engagements and increase utilization.
- Where were you pre-Emerge?
- My background is quite diverse, with over 30 years of experience in a variety of roles including Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Recruitment Process Management, Human Resources, Training, Photography, and Creative Design. Most of my career has been focused in the Technology, Telecom, and Finance industries working for companies such as Ziff-Davis, ElementK, Enterprise Training Solutions, Sprint, One Communications, Eastman Kodak Company, and Cisco Systems Inc. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree and also spent many years doing freelance photography, jewelry design, graphics, and web design work. As a freelance graphics designer I spent several years designing characters for a popular name-brand computer game.
- Can you brag about some of your career accomplishments?
- I have been a top-ranking performer in every role I have had, earning numerous awards and recognitions. In the height of my sales career I was honored with the Ziff-Davis Chairman's Club award for achieving over 200% of my sales quota and generating over $4mm in revenue selling technical training solutions. I think what I am most proud of is that I truly enjoy the work I do and look forward to every day and each new challenge.
